Dale Carnegie:

“Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success.”

PrasannaEllanti.com – Better Than Ever

I decided to upgrade the theme of my blog recently, because originally I intended it to be a photography blog. I soon realised as it has progressed over the past few months, this new theme is better suited.

My original theme was the freeĀ Autofocus+ by AllanCole (with a lot of customisations).

The new theme is ShakenGrid by Shaken&Stirred.

Hope you like it as much as I do…and please be patient while I finish upgrading the site.

Austin Clarke – The Planter’s Daughter

An interesting poem about the feudal system in Ireland of all things through the perception of beauty.

When night stirred at sea,
An the fire brought a crowd in
They say that her beauty
Was music in mouth
And few in the candlelight
Thought her too proud,
For the house of the planter
Is known by the trees.Men that had seen her
Drank deep and were silent,
The women were speaking
Wherever she went —
As a bell that is rung
Or a wonder told shyly
And O she was the Sunday
In every week.

By Austin Clarke.
