Heineken Cup Quarter Finals- Leinster Vs. Leicester Tigers

Posted on 14 Apr ’11

I love going to matches in the new Aviva stadium in Dublin – it is certainly a great replacement for the original Landsdowne road (except for the name).

We went to the Leinster Vs. Leicester Tigers match, which was a good match in a nearly packed out Aviva stadium. It was a close game, but Leinster showed class all the way and the defence was almost flawless coming away with a 17-10 win.

The short version of the match boils down to – 4 penalties for Jonathan Sexton, a missed try by Luke Fitzgerald, a brilliant combo-try from Shane Horgan & Isa Nacewa, a bloodied nose for Brian O’Driscoll, and a consolation converted try for Leicester Tigers.

I managed to get a large number of snaps from the game, so here are a couple of the best ones…

The equipment I had was:

  • Camera:: Sony A230
  • Lens:: 18 – 55mm standard lens
  • Memory:: San Disk Extreme 8GB
  • Carry Bag:: KATA holster camera pouch

Check them out.
