Paul May – An audio story of swimming
Posted on 4 Apr ’11
A old m8 and ex-triathlon buddy, Paul May, for one of his courses, Collective Storytelling in NYU, created a piece called “Swimming”.
The story is a combination of peoples memory of their first swim, mixed with sounds of swimming from a local pool. It’s funny how much I could relate the sounds and my first experience, when my mum brought me and my siblings to a local pool in the Coolmine Sports Centre at the age of 10. I have loved swimming since then, long before my serious triathlon days. If you share mine or Paul’s love of swimming…listen to the audio story (with headphones if you can) and see how it makes you feel…
